Slagbank

Classic Rock legends back by popular request!  Buzz Elliot plays guitar, keyboards, & backing vocals in the UK rock band Hammerhead, and also  Slagbank, as well as playing solo acoustic shows with a variety of guitar effects, loops etc. He also hosts a radio show called ‘Am I going insane’ on Deep Nuggets radio in the USA once every two weeks. Slagbank are also Tony Steel on drums/vocals and Mark Coles – bass/vocals. Slagbank will be playing your favourite Rock Tunes from the 70’s including Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Alex Harvey, Hawkwind and many more!

The band name SLAGBANK is a nod towards their hometown of Workington, a former steel town on the coastal edge of West Cumbria, the band love to play our own interpretations of 1970’s Classic Rock, bass player Mark Coles loves UFO, meanwhile drummer Tony Steel and Buzz share a love for Led Zeppelin, Physical Graffiti being our No1 Desert Island Disc! Therefore you can expect to hear lots of Zep’ & UFO, along with some of their other favourite bands from that era such as Purple, Budgie, SAHB, Rush and more!

Slagbank call their set list the mountain of 70s rock and it looks a bit like this:-
