GENERAL Information - Camping, Ferry, Buses and Directions
General Information:
The festival site is The Ormidale Sports Centre Shore Rd, Brodick, Isle of Arran, North Ayrshire, KA27 8DL. The main stage will be in the marquee with a capacity of 500, some seating for accessibility will be allowed along the perimeters, therefore bring along camp chairs for those with additional needs.
The masterclasses will be held in the pavilion which will also serve breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas. Across the road is the second venue, The Brodick Golf Course where music will run alongside our main stage and food served all day there. Car parking will be limited on site so please avoid bringing a car. Stewards and first aiders will be available at all times to provide you with support and information. Ferry to Arran:
There are three main routes to Arran:
Ardrossan to Brodick: Take a 55-minute ferry ride. It’s recommended to make vehicle reservations in advance.
Claonaig to Lochranza: This route from Kintyre to the north end of Arran takes about 30 minutes by ferry.
Troon to Brodick: This crossing takes one hour and thirty minutes from the lovely seaside town of Troon.

Camping
Tents are allowed onto the sports fields however vehicles are not allowed across the pitch. Camping gear can be dropped off but cars must be parked in designated areas or offsite. No fires or barbeques are allowed on site. Due to close proximity to residential areas, anti social behaviour will not be tolerated and campers will be moved on if this occurs. We ask our guests to respect the local community at all times.
Campervans
We have a limited number of hard standing parking spaces for campervans for Friday, Saturday & Sunday only but booking is essential. Both tents and campervans can be prebooked with weekend tickets and cost £30 for a tent and £60 for a van. If there is a dry spell in April we will be able to accommodate more vans on the fields however this will be a last minute decision. Awnings will not be possible. Facilities are very limited on site. Toilets & showers are available in the sports pavillion however no elsan or water fill up. Bus Information:
Stagecoach offer a service around the island throughout the day and evening but not late at night. To enable our customers to get home safely we offer limited seats on our minibuses travelling to the south end of the island through the main villages from Brodick to Kilmory and to the North End to Lochranza or Pirnmill. Pre booking is advised as we can not guarantee a space on the day.
